I’m Tomas Woods, a professional WCMX (Wheelchair Motocross) rider with a passion for pushing the limits of what’s possible on four wheels. Over the past 5 years, I’ve earned 3 World Championship titles and 5 National Championships, but my journey is about more than medals — it’s about breaking barriers, inspiring others, and showing that disability doesn’t define ability.
My path in WCMX started from a love of action sports and a drive to adapt the park to my own style. From skateparks to world stages, I’ve dedicated myself to progressing the sport, perfecting new tricks, and helping bring adaptive athletes into the spotlight. Every trick is a chance to show what determination and creativity can achieve.
Off the ramps, I work to grow awareness for adaptive sports and the incredible community behind them. Through demonstrations, talks, partnerships, and my own 501(c)(3) Foundation I aim to inspire the next generation of riders and help make WCMX more accessible worldwide. My mission is to build opportunities and visibility for athletes with disabilities, while showing what true resilience looks like.
As WCMX continues to grow, financially it’s becoming harder and harder to continue that’s why I’m looking to partner with brands and organisations who share my vision for innovation and impact. Sponsorship not only helps me travel, train, and compete at the highest level, but also fuels the movement to bring adaptive sports into the mainstream.
